Active Room Compensation
Active Room Compensation acoustically optimises the sound of your speaker to deliver your music perfectly. The technology analyses your room to adjust for speaker placement, as well as walls and furniture, to ensure a sensational listening experience in any room.
Beam Width Control
Beam Width Control gives you the power to control the sound dispersion to suit your needs. A narrow sound beam offers precise delivery to a particular listening spot. Wide is perfect for movies, while 360-degree omnidirectional sound is superb for parties.
Beam Direction Control
Created for flexible living spaces, Beolab 90 is designed to ensure you always have a front row seat. Our Beam Direction Control technology lets you define one of five directions as the acoustic front, giving you a tailored sweet spot listening experience.
18 state-of-the-art Scan-Speak drivers are placed in carefully defined positions for maximum performance. Each speaker packs a combination of 14 channels of the latest generation ICEpower amplifiers and four class D amplifiers.
Creating a masterpiece
The main cabinet itself weighs 65 kg and is a solidly cast aluminium cabinet in which no less than 18 drivers pointing in different directions have been placed. The cabinet is then clad in an elastic and semi- transparent fabric that lets you have a glimpse of all the drivers.

Sculpted aluminium crowns
The crowns are crafted from solid aluminium rods, pulled, stretched, anodised, and polished to accentuate the unique suspension of the fabric covers.

Control the settings of your BeoLab 90 using the Bang & Olufsen remote or by using the dedicated app on your phone. It is easy to control the beam width and direction. In addition, you can pre-program all of BeoLab 90’s features and save presets that best suit your preferences for different occasions. These presets can also be automatically selected by your Bang & Olufsen television, or triggered by devices connected to BeoLab 90’s many inputs.
